CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS


BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB

For children ages 1-8, ask us how you can receive

a FREE book during the month of your child's birthday!

 

Toddler Story Hour

Children accompanied by an adult caregiver are welcome to share in stories, songs, and rhymes at this story time. It is followed by a free play period.

Program is every Monday morning
at 10:00am and 11:00am

 

Mother Goose on the Loose

An early childhood literacy program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. A short program of stories, rhymes, and active music play is followed by playtime.

Program is every Thursday at 10am

 

Curious Readers Book Club

This once-a-month book club is for 1st - 5th graders.
We begin with a snack, share books, and finish with
an activity or craft. this club meets the first Tuesday
of every month 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Registration
is required so see Ms. Whitney for more details.

Next meeting: June 7th

 

Lego Club

Let your imagination take over! This freeplay with

legos is offered to elementary-aged children. We
provide legos but you are welcome to bring your own.
Snacks are provided. Program is the last
Thursday of every month 4:00pm - 5:00pm.

FAMILY PROGRAMS


Family Movie @ the Library

Come join us for some family fun at the library.
 Enjoy a free movie in our Program room.
Snacks will be provided. Movies are shown at
6:00pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Notable Books Tour


Patricia Majher, author of
"Great Girls in Michigan History",

will be here to discuss her book. This program is
open to patrons of all ages. No registration is
required. Light refreshments provided. Books will
be available for sale and signing.

AFTER SCHOOL

TEEN PROGRAMS


Make it Yourself Craft Club

6th-8th graders can join us on the second Tuesday
of every month
at 2:45pm. Stop in to make
a new craft and have a snack. All materials will be
provided. No registration required.

Storystarters Writing Group

6th-8th graders can create imaginative

stories on the third Wednesday
of every month
at 2:45pm.

Next meeting: May 18th

 

Games Club

6th-8th graders can enjoy this freeplay with games
and legos on the last Thursday of every month at
2:45pm. We provide the games and legos but you may
also bring your own. Snacks are provided.

ADULT PROGRAMS


Color Me Happy

Coloring isn't just for kids anymore! Join us for a
couple hours while coloring in various designs and
patterns. This practice generates wellness, quietness
and also stimulates brain areas related to motor skills, the
senses and creativity. This event will take place the first Monday
afternoon of every month between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
Next meeting: May 2nd
